Daily Makeup / Makeup Lately

Is it me or are the day getting just a tiny bit longer? I'm longing for summer now but I'm happy waiting it out too. I have been using these products for the last two weeks now, I don't change up my makeup as much as I should but most day's I only leave the house to go to work so it's pretty natural but I like to add eyeliner and some lipstick if I'm going out after work or on weekends to make it a bit more glam.

Foundation: L'Oreal Paris 24H Infallible Foundation
This is by far my favourite drugstore foundation, I just keep buying and buying it! I use the colour 200 Golden Sand. It's medium to full coverage and my, it makes my skin look flawless. It's super easy to blend, I use a damp beauty blender to blend out my foundation and if I need a bit of extra coverage in certain areas  I just add a drop more foundation but if you haven't tried this, you should.

Concealer: Bourjois Healthy Mix Concealer
This was the first time I tried this concealer and I wasn't impressed nor unimpressed. The coverage is a bit naff which is a bit surprising because I love the Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation but it does have a nice glowy finish, I just use this to brighten up my under eye area a tad.

The classic cheap powder but it does the job, and it does last a really long time before my face looks like a sparkling bauble.

Bronzer: Bourjois Bronzing Powder
I love using this to give my face some colour and it makes such a big difference in my makeup steps. It really warms up the face and I also use this powder to contour my nose (if I have the time), It's undoubtedly a great bronzer and the best thing about it... it smells of CHOCOLATE!!!.

Contour Powder: Model Launcher Cosmetics Safari Bronzer
I think I received this in a subscription box, I use this to define my cheekbones and my jaw line. I really like this bronzer it's a bit too dark to bronze the whole face which is why I use this just to contour, it also has a tiny bit of shimmer in it which I normally wouldn't go for but it's very subtle and gives it a really natural finish.

I have been using this blusher palette for months upon end now and I still can't get enough of it, it has four different shades in it and they have a little shimmer but they are so soft and subtle, and a little bit of product goes a long way!

Again, I have been using this stuff since forever and I don't think I'll be changing what I use on my brows any time soon, I've got way to comfortable with this product to want to explore others. It's A-MAZING, I use it nearly everyday and I've had this pot for more than a year!! They have such a variety of colours and it's makes doing my eyebrows a dream. I then use the Pixi Brow Tamer and they stay put all day long.

I am a huge fan of earthy toned eye shadows, I just think they suit my eye colour (I have blue eyes) oranges and browns really make them pop so I'm naturally drawn to those colours in eyeshadow palettes, I love using this Morphe one as it's so quick to create an eye look with as there are such a variety of colours in one palette but I also alternatively use the Tartelette In Bloom Palette which I will always treasure and love but there isn't that much difference in the Morphe Palettes for just over half the price.

I've been testing this out lately you can read my post all about it here I'm really liking it so far, it gives my lashes reasonably length and darkens them and it's very convenient for rainy days in January.

Lipstick: L'Oreal Paris Color Riche Matte Addiction
I love wearing dark red lipsticks, I usually only wear them in the colder months, or of a night I don't really know why, maybe because when it's warm I worry the lipstick will melt off my lips and it'll be a real messy job if it's red but I do normally wear nudes and pinks when it gets warmer. I've been wearing the colour Paris Cherry, I really like L'Oreal lipsticks they're great quality for the money.

  1. I spot many of my favourites! I picked up that L'Oreal Paris mascara but I accidently picked up the indigo shade - a happy accident that i don't mind because it actually looks nice. I adore the tarte in bloom palette - it was the very first high end palette to ever appeal to me and the packaging is so photogenic I can't stop photographing it. I picked it up in their holiday collection which included the toasted palette and their matte palette. So my obsession has grown quickly.

    1. I was initially going to pick up a different shade too but ended up getting the classic black to play it safe! The Tartelette in bloom palette was my first ever high end palette too! It's definitely one of my favourites.
